Its been a long while.

I did my 3 months internship, I went to concerts, met and knew new people, got new life lessons.

First thing I want to mention is, I FREAKING WENT TO ED SHEERAN'S CONCERT AND I MET LAUV (HE WAS THE OPENING GUEST) TOO.
Damn I shot two birds with one stone lolllll.
The concert is incredible and unforgettable. Ed was just 3feet away from me.
I went to the stadium 8 hours earlier before the show starts and I ran to the stage after checking tickets so I was quite near to the stage.
Met some friendly Sheerios but I forgot to ask their namesl lol.

Ed Sheeran is cute and shy and sings beautifully as usual.
I was surprised that he sang his first and second album's song, quite a lot.
I can still remember Lulu's face when I rapped Don't and You Need Me I Dont Need You.
(I went with Lulu and my sister, they are such a good company because they will sing and do weird dance with me)
What made me happier was two couples got engaged when he was singing Perfect and Thinking Out Loud.
That's so romantic and clever.


Not to forget about Lauv's performance.
That American talented blue boy.
I want to talk about him because I feel like I watch him growing up.
He played for us for 1 hour before Ed took over the stage.
I literally cried when he sang The Other, the song I never tired listening to.
A girl turned back to me and said: "Hey nice voice." when I was singing along.
She made my day even more. Still feeling so happy now hahahah


I discovered this talented boy from Spotify, fall for him after listening to The Other.
He wasn't really well-known back then but now he gained more fans after the opening act for Ed and after release I Like Me Better and A Different Way, he is getting recognized that he deserves.
He performed on Honda Stage at iHeart and Jimmy Kimmel show too. SO PROUD.

I listened to him very frequent when I was in college and I always recommend his song to my friends, now I feel so proud that everyone is listening to him.
I put The Other as the background music for my online portfolio click to go to my online portfolio , then my lecturer, Jon asked me what is the title of that song and asked me to add to the playlist that I was preparing for our design showcase. Jon said The Other made him feel like crying. My sister didnt know the song title so she always went to my website, not to see my portfolio, but listening to the song on repeat. Got some messages from college friends asking about the song title too.

I love him so much and surprisingly he was the special guest on Ed's concert.
It was a dream to watch two idols in one concert.

I went to Mayday's concert too. Best Chinese rock band ever.
My sister won tickets so she gave me ticket for free. She is always a lucky one.
Our seats were very far from stage but its so great to listen to AShin singing live.
Mayday's concert is a must-to-attend once in your lifetime.


Met Shane Filan today at his mini concert in KL today.
Yes, that former Westlife main vocal, one of my childhood crushes.
He performed new songs from his new solo album and some good old songs like My Love and Uptown Girl. His voice is still amazing like ten years ago.
Can't believe I actually saw him in person, got his sign on the album.
dream came true hehe

Wish that I can attend more concertsssss.
Concert to me is like a music festival, its a party that can help me to release stress.



Randomly saying that I've turned 21 last month!
Spent the day working overtime in office lol.



Internship is not fun but I learnt so much.
Discovered how this industry is working, and its not easy.
Colleagues are weird but funny.
Thanks them for making me laughed and made the environment a little less stressful.
Boss and director treated me well.
Had a lot of cups of milo, ate a lot of packs of chips, so I gained 2kgs.


I had interview yesterday and got a call from the director today.
Grateful that I got the job.
I will be working with a college friend two weeks later. yayNew challenges and stress are coming.
Wish me luck.

That sweet uncle

Its 0140 am now. So random. I want to type.
I thought I will be blogging a lot during this 3 weeks semester break but I actually have no time to do it even there is no assignment. (this is the last week already) House works and being a sister to fetch the younger sister. Driving makes me cant do anything and it takes my time. Leo is right, Kepong area is always jam.

I am now working in a container cafe near my house. Its been 2 weeks. I feel good. Busy life with salary is good, working in a cafe is good as I love the coffee aroma. I thought I am going to the kindergarten again but I wish to learn something different. Its my interest too. I knew some new friends and my boss and colleagues are friendly to me. Feeding me snack, making me coffee and teaching me knowledge about coffee. I remember I have mentioned in my first blog post that I don't drink coffee, I love flower tea. I think that little container is changing my mind. I even drank a cup of green tea today. I tried latte and espresso too. That's good, to accept and to try stuffs that I don't used to.

Anyway, what I really want to tell start here.
When I was ten years old, standard four, I had my first tuition class at Metro Prima.
My parents were not able to fetch me because they got work to do so my mom paid for transportation fee to the tuition center, having uncle driver, drives an old van to bring students go and back.

The uncle driver, around 55 years old (when I was 10), tall, freckles on his face, some wrinkles, grey hair, looking kind, always wearing collar polo type shirt.
I am a bad one who cant really remember his face and I forgot his name.
I remember that, when he reaches in front of my house, he honks twice, I wear my shoes quick then got into the van, politely great him.
Then he will chat with me, telling me his story, his wife, his children, teach me how to be a good kid, which place/country he had travel before, asked me to study hard.
He asked me to study well, get a good job with good salary, thanks my parents and go to travel.
He told me how big and beautiful China is, the mountains and lakes.

There is a tree outside my tuition center. He will always standing under the tree, patiently waits for the students coming down from upstairs. Whenever I reach the ground, I see his father-smiling-face, called me to get into the van.
I was always sitting at the front passenger seat and I was the one who lives the nearest from the tuition place so I was the last one to drop off (that's how they planned).
When the van only left the uncle and I, he will pull down the drawer in front of my seat, taking out the fancy sweets and chocolate imported from oversea and gave them to me. He said that he doesn't eat sweet stuff but his daughter always bought him. Instead of keeping in the fridge, he decided to bring some to me. I still don't know why he only gave me but I think that's a sweet action.
He was like a sweet dad to me. He treat me like his daughter/grandchild.

I remember the day he told that it was the last day he is fetching me, he is not working at that tuition place anymore. It was a very bad news to me, I tried hard to hold my tears.
When I almost reach home that day, he pulled down the drawers again, and gave all the chocolates and sweets to me like always. Maybe as a goodbye present or he saw my nose turned red.
I don't feel like leaving the van and it was probably the hardest goodbye at my age of 10.
I was very sad. I even cried after I reached home.
There's no any driver uncle treats me like how he treats me anymore after he leave.

Even though he was just a driver, he made me remember him because he paid his heart to his job.
He was kind to kids, he is patient (from my experiences, taking buses and vans since primary to secondary school, drivers are normally impatient and have very bad temper), he has a big heart, he treats the kids like his own children. I never see him angry waiting outside because of any kid sleepover or coming out late. I never see him scolding any kid. Unlike the other driver uncles.


Today, in the container cafe, a men came in and ordered a cup of signature coffee.
The men has freckles on his face, grey hair, polo shirt, speaks English, using Samsung galaxy 8.
He said he hates 3in1 instant coffee and chatted friendly with us. He looks so familiar.
I was stunned, I wasn't sure who he is but I definitely know this guy.
Is he the uncle who drove me and told me good stories? I thought he looks like him.
Not dare to ask because I was so nervous. My hands actually shake a little. I saw my shaky hands when I was pouring out the coffee form.
This is the first time, I felt this feeling. I feel my heart was beating to fast and I could not speak.
Have you ever felt this feeling before? See or meet someone you long for years.
I starred at him for so long and he caught my eyes too.
I am unsure because the uncle I knew talks Chinese, less confident than that men, looks thrifty.

I used lip language to tell my colleague that I must know this men but I am not sure who he is.
I told asked the barista, Aric, if he knows him and is he a regular customer?
After 5 seconds, Aric said: He is a tuition teacher teaching at a tuition center nearby.
He is not the one I thought but I am very happy too.
He was my physics class tuition teacher (for less than a year) back then.
NO WONDER.
I double confirmed with that men, and yes, I was his ex-student.
We chatted for awhile then he leave for class.
I am happy to meet him. I don't think I will have any chance to meet this teacher if I was not working in the container. Meeting people who you knew before, with good memories but lost contact is a great opportunity.


Its been 10 years and I think the lovely uncle is already around 65. I wish he is healthy and happy. Still wishing to meet him someday. I want to thank him.
Let's not losing hope to meet the one you are longing to meet.

DIVIDE ALBUM, ED SHEERAN

I mentioned in my earlier post, Ed Sheeran posted all the songs in his latest album, Divide to YouTube! I found this action lovely because he/ his company gave us free music. You do not have to purchase anything but stream online on YouTube. 16 SONGS ARE COMPLETELY FREE! *All from deluxe version Divide album* So generous. Maybe it’s a kind of marketing to sell his music but I am really happy about it. If people do not have effort to buy the album, just go on Youtube. Btw, did he/ his company think of the selling point of the album? I believe there are still a lot of people buying it tho, for collection. This album is amazing and it is definitely worth the money. Keep the CD/ vinyl nice and when you are old, play this to your children or grandchildren and see their reaction. 

I cant pick my favourite song from the 16. They all are so beautiful.
I watched some interviews of making the album so I am giving some fact about the album and songs to you.

1. The happy songs in Divide album are talking about the same girl. (I believe is Cherry)
2. Nancy Mulligan is his grandma. The song telling the story about his grandparent and his grandma loves it!
3. He used 6 months to complete the album. (He took a year break, half to travel, half for music)
4. He loves Barcelona so much so he wrote a song for it.
5. Supermarket flower was wrote the day his grand passed away.
6. How would you feel is Cherry’s favourite song of all. When Ed almost complete the album, he asked his gf what’s her favourite song in the album (at that time, How would you feel was not in the list). She answered him that he has forgot its existing and told him is How would you feel (Ed wrote it earlier and he didn’t put that song into Divide) So, he checked back from his email, then recorded and added that into the album.
7. Shape of you was originally written for Rihanna.
8. He painted he album cover himself.
9. The album called Divide because the shape of you and castle on the hill. The curves of body shape representing two round shape and Castle on the hill looks like a bar. Ed thinks it makes sense in his mind.
10. Divide world tour is coming soon.

In this album, I love how he explores Spain, Irish, Brazil, Ghana (maybe Madagascar too!) culture for Nancy Mulligan, Barcelona, Galway girl and BiBia Be Ye Ye. I always feeling like dancing when listening to them.

Ed Sheeran release Castle on The Hill and Shape of You first because he thinks it will become a hits but he promised that are not the best in the album before all 16 songs releasing. Well, he is right.

Raymond showed me some comments from FB, saying that this album is overrated and the songs Ed made are all the same. Then I was like, OK maybe they don’t understand or don’t really listen to it. I think I am not a crazy fans although my friends say I am. He is not very good looking, does not know how to dance, his dressing style is so simple, and don’t talk about his hairstyle. I just adore his talents, his way to write and compose songs, putting his history, his thought, his family & friends into the songs and his personality. His character inspired me, his music brings me cheer and tears, just that simple.
I would say that if a singer has his very own style, you will know it from his music. Ed’s music has the Ed style, that why you think the songs sound all the same I think. He uses his method to make his albums, and that’s why, you thought his music sounds all same. Lol not sure if you get it.
Just like Chainsmoker, Passenger, Adele, Birdy, Jay Chou, JJ Lin. Their own style are unique and authentic, that's what make them special and stand out.
The styles are may from the way they sing, the way they write or the instrument they play or anything.
Anyway, in my opinion, the first album, Plus, the second, Multiply and the third, Divide are very different.

He is coming to Malaysia in the end of the year! I cant wait for it and I am saving my pocket money and going to find a part time job to buy the ticket. The tour dates (Asia) will be announced in May. Let’s pray I can get the ticket.

Its been awhile to type!

Hello I am back again just a quick share of my favourite songs recently.
Well, its not about Ed Sheeran tho.
Still want to say that Ed uploaded the full album, 16songs to his youtube channels!

Two days ago before I slept, I discovered this song on YouTube.

The official audio was uploaded five months ago but this official music video was uploaded on 5th March. I was really sleepy and about to sleep but the title woke me up.
Collaboration between Passenger and Birdy?!?!?!

Clicked in and repeated for four times then fall asleep.

Both voices of Passenger and Birdy are well recognized and beautiful.
You will know that Passenger/ Birdy sing this song even though the FM deejay didnt tell you.
I love both of them but I couldnt imagine they sing together.
They have done a great job.
I literally melt for the harmonize that Birdy did when her voice came in at 00:43
Their voices are just beautiful that can heal people's heart.
The song is soft and so easy to listen to and its lovely and emotionally at the same time.

I absolutely love it and I cant pick which song I like the most.
I jammed Somebody's Love a lot last month. Its good too.



If I am not mistaken, he got inspiration from New Zealand and Ireland when he was on a trip.
(knew it from comment section. hehe)
A good trip brings good ideas.
Going to a different places, seeing different things, meeting new people, listening to new voices and looking how people live are a great way to inspired yourself with new discovering.

I saw a post from Facebook just now, mentioning what we should have done at the age of 18.

1. Get wet in a rain
2. Confess to your crush
3. Watch the sun goes down by the beach
4. Get first place in exam
5. Play truth or dare sincerely
6. Earn money by your own self
7. Releasing sky lantern
8. Get drunk secretly
9. Stay awake for all night long (I do this since I was 15)
10. Go on a random vacation

Its not a must to do it before 18 tho. The post is just for entertaining.
Viewed the comments, people are proudly leaving comments that they have done all 10.
Then I was counting what I have done and releasing I am already 20.
I know I am 20 but I always forget it. How and when I have came so far? lol
Its not far if I can live until 80 tho. I still have a long way to go.
I want to grow up faster, get a job, earn money, buy good stuffs for my family and travel.
I dont want to see my parents getting old anyway.
Can I let the time only effecting on myself but not my parents?
I was shocked when I figured out my dad is already 58 (but he looks young and cute) during his birthday last year.
Tears filling in my eyes when he was happily listening to our birthday song.


I am 20. What should I achieve at this age?
When my elder sister was 20, she already has her own car.
She doesnt really like study so she start working since she was very young.
She is 26 now but she is a very experienced kindergarten teacher.
She went to college tho, studied accounting (my mom forced her to do it lol), got her diploma certificate but not continuing the degree level and she is not even working in accounting firm now.
I remember she told me two years ago, saying that I am lucky to choose what I like to study and you know what you are interested.

Put my sister aside, back to 20.
I am still studying, still have to take pocket money weekly from my mom.
What I have now? Nothing? Knowledge? Assignment and unhealthy body?
Is my character changing? From a naive girl to a better or more mature one?
I may not feel like I am an adult but I am definitely not a kid anymore.
Well, I cannot say that I have changed my character and personality because I dont think I am the one who can judge or observe myself.
I will wait and let people around me tell me that if I am growing and I cant wait.
I love to know about myself from others, to know how people see me.
You cant take it too serious anyway.
Should know how to balance, take the opinions from others, but dont fully follow it.
You know who you are too. 

Throwback to my 20th birthday.
Not so special but I think I love it.
I had dinner with my besties.
Thanks them squeezing time for me.
Miya was in Taiwan and Pui Ting was working. 
Its always hard to reach 5/5, which is kinda sad.
There was no birthday cake but I didnt feel bad tho.
Dinner with the loves one, received wishes from friends, that's more than enough.
I got birthday gifts too. I love the bracelet, photos and the Illuminate album.

20. Not a teen anymore.
There is only one 20 in my life.
What I should achieve in this year?
I am graduating this year (plus internship) if there is no accident. lol
Not sure what is going to happen in my 20 anyway but I will make sure to do my best to live my life.

My favourite American couple

There are a lot of lovely couples I am admired of like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, David Beckham and Victoria, Blackie and Fanfan, Ellen DeGenerous and Portia, my parents and many more.
They all are truly lovely but I have one ultimate favourite couple.


I started to watch and listen to Obama and Michelle's speech two years ago.

The more I watch it, the more I am obsessed with them.

I am watching more frequently recently because Obama has retired after running for two terms!

He can finally have a life and relax after serving for 8 years.

I bet he will win easily if he was able to run for the third term.

He wouldn't and couldn't do it anyway, sayin' Michelle would divorce him. hahaha

People are asking Michelle to run for president (what a great idea!) but she is not interested with politics and she has said that she will not do it.

I watched the psycoanalysis and their body language analysis telling that they are such an actor or a very bad man, it does not change my thought of them.

I am not an American, I dont know America's politics.

I do not know if Obama was a great president, but I do know he is a great man.

So likable, loving, caring, kind, polite, respectful, giving couple, both Obama and Michelle.

You might say he wasnt the best president, but he is definitely the coolest president on earth!

They both have good sense of humor, making conversations and every interview fun.
(I think that is the way they can stay in love like a newly couple after 23 years of married.)

They are amazing parents to their daughters, Malia and Sasha.

I do really learn so much from them, from the speeches, interviews, campaigns.

Their speeches and talks are so inspiring and powerful that courage me very much.

(I think I watched every video about them on YouTube, lol)

They gave useful advice for everyone, not just American.

Such a role model to the teenagers. We should really learn from them.


Not forget to mention that Michelle is pure beauty.
I adore her style and her wisdom.
The way she wears, the way she speaks, the way she treats people.
The coolest and down-to-earth first lady.
She went to carpool karaoke with James, her mom-dance, her did push-up during interview, she joked, she danced together with the oldest women in American, and many lovely actions make her my idol.
She is formal lawyer degree graduated from Harvard and she used her post as a First Lady to advocate for women's right, education, equality, gun control and wellness.
Brilliant.
She said that she wanted to go for further study in the best university in America but people around her just dont think she can do it.
She did it anyway and said: I did not have anyone who help me study and the fact that I was a girl and I am black. When I was growing up, there were very few black women at high levels in business or politics or science on TV, so I dont have many professional role models to look up to. I have feeling that my experience might feel similar or familiar to some of you.You have everything in your life to rise above all of the noise and fullfill every last one of your dreams. And its so important you do that not just for yourselves but all of us.


She told us that education can change your life and education is the key to success and to make your country great.
She told us girls/female deserve what we deserve.
She told us no one cute boy can stop you being educate.
She told us dont be afraid, be focused, be determine, be hopeful, be empowered.
Empower yourselves with a good education, then get out there to use that education.

Both of them are intelligent and bright.

They were made to be together. 

They met each other in summer, when Michelle was 20 at Chicago. Michelle was freshly graduated from law school when Obama was a first-year law student from Harvard.
She was Obama's adviser during summer associate.

(That's her job as an associate)

She said: I never met anybody who lived in Hawaii. I felt it strange. He must be weird, probably a little nerdy but when he walked into my office on the first day, he was cuter than I thought.

Michelle and Obama developed a good friendship after a month and Obama asked her for date.

Michelle thought it wouldn't be a right thing to do but Obama said 'who cares?' he is so cool

So she said okay we will go on this day one day but we wont call its a date.

They went to an Art Institute and Obama impressed Michelle with his knowledge about art.

Then, they watched a movie together, had dinner together and Michelle was sold.

               

Obama always telling people how amazing Michelle is, showing his love and gentle all the time.

They are proud of each other.

Obama once said in an interview about his first impression to Michelle:

Another interview during Ellen Show, Ellen asked what Michelle and he fight for, he said: After about 15 years, I figured out that she is always right so we ended up not fighting.

Cant tell how happy I am now listening to two single, Castle On The Hill and Shape Of You.
Both are sooooooo damn good and I assume they are my early birthday gift from Ed hahaha
He has had his one year break and now he is back with his forth album, DIVIDE.


The first song I knew from Ed was Lego House, 4 years ago.
Jess asked me to try it during school class.

And now, I am deeply in love with Ed's music.
I have his 'Multiply' and '5' singles album.
Gonna save more for 'Plus', 'Multiply Jumper for Goalpost' and his new album.


Ed posted a picture to Instagram on 13/12/2015 announcing that he will be taking break.
Then, he was really missing from social media. (He attended Grammy tho)

On 13/12/2016, he posted a plain blue picture on social media and that made my day.
I love his music style, the lyrics, his voice, his personality and everything.
He is pure talented.
I actually done my Personal Branding assignment with Ed as my idol.
My lecturer loves it. He even noted down his song title and he said he will try it after.
I will probably upload the presentation slide here in future.

I think every Sheerio gets it, the plain light blue picture is not easy.
It was probably implying his next album.

Then, he surprised everyone with this
