Did I mention I am having semester break now?
Not really a break because I have work to do to earn some money.
And the reason I am blogging here but not working is because I am sick. lol
Sore throat, fever, headache come together is killing but I think I am getting better now.
Drink more water buddy, the weather is so weird.
Big hot sun in the morning. heavy rain in the afternoon, hazy in the evening, dry air at night.
And don't eat'freshly-fried' chicken too much.
Back to the topic.
I am currently working as assistant teacher / daycare teacher at a kindergarten nearby my place.
Just an assistant, there is one main teacher tells me what to help.
I was the emcee on sport day and concert day too. So fun yet to tiring.
My eldest sister is a kindergarten teacher.
She teaches 4,5,6 year-old-children.
I think she has got 6/7 years of experience.
She can communicate and understand the children very well.
Very well.
I help for the 3/4 years old for the morning session and do day care during afternoon.
I help to do typing, filing, decorating sometimes.
3/4 years old children are easy to handle.
You ask them to sit, they sit. Ask them to drink, they drink.
The only problem is, they are very talk active.
They love to share their story and tell you what their parents bought them and where they went on weekend. Just listen to them.
Teach them to read, write, sing, draw, color.
They are so cute. Can't help myself watching at them.
During day care, I guide them with their homework, change their uniform to casual wear (aunty will bath them), feed them, tell them story and appease them to sleep.
Its not easy. You will learn to be patient.
Sometimes, the children will just not listen to you and do fake crying.
You can do nothing but appease them and wait them to calm down.
The beautiful thing is, kids are honest and they give compliment.
They will tell you your outfit is beautiful, you are pretty, you smell good, your hair is nice.
They will tell your skin is bad also. lol so honest so lovely
Last week, a 5 years old boy named Yu Hao told me:
' Teacher, I think I like your voice. You have nice voice.'
I MELT.
I worked the same thing when I was waiting for my spm's result two years ago.
A girl named Ashlee told me: 'Teacher, you dress like a Cinderella today'
How sweettttttttttttttttt (cinderella is my favourite princess)
Btw, I was actually wearing a long blue maxi dress. haha
Instead of sleeping at home during semester break, I decided to work and earn some money.
I need money. My piggy bank is so empty.
I want to have fun (watch movie, buy CD) and buy my own desire(clothessss) on my own.
Its hard to say 'mommy, I need some money to watch movie'. So hard.
I love to be indepentent in financial part.
I love to be and I was taught to be.
My mom wouldn't give extra money to buy snack when I was a kid.
So, this is the third week I am working there.
The last week.
College reopen next week.So excited.
Excited for the new subjects although I know I will have more sleepless nights.
That's life. We have to challenge ourselves to grow and become a better one.
Life without challenge and hard work is so boring.
Work hard, play hard. bye
(these are the children I took care two years ago. Their names are still in my head)
